If you took some Vicks Nyquil ( 25% alchol by volume ) would it show up in a drug test?

Thanks for the question - I can see that you're concerned.
Alcohol is eliminated by the body at a certain rate - the usual half-life independent of any family history, any other drugs you are taking, etc is about 12 hours. Other medication can slow down the absorption of alcohol as can problem with your liver or other drugs which compete for the same receptor sites in your body.
Aside from any of this....if you wait 12-18 hours you should be fine.
