Answer
Shivashankaran,
Thank you for your message and for reaching out for some help and assistance at quitting.

Alcoholism is "cunning, baffling, and powerful; without help it is too much for us..." as is said in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous.  Your words you use to describe your situation is exactly this - you want to stop but alcohol has control.

Alcoholics metabolize alcohol differently than other people.  I would suppose you describe my kind of drinking before I found the way to quit over 15 years ago.  This is the central issue for you - you process alcohol differently and you will never be able to drink like other "normal people".

The way I found (no, A Higher Power guided me there) was through the rooms and people of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).  These people understand me when I describe what I think and feel.  They give me support and affirmation and hold me accountable to being honest about my life on a daily basis.

If you want what I have (peace of mind, and most of all, sobriety that works) then I suggest that you find the local chapters of AA in India and make a commitment today to give this program serious consideration.  It saved my life 15 years ago and saves it today.  I'll be heading to a meeting in less than an hour and I go just about every day.

I hope this helps and write again if I may be of any further help.

Grace and Peace,
Clyde
