Answer
Terrie,

it won't take long for him to
resume where he left off drinking.
Without any recovery treatment program
he will progressively get worse.
How long it takes to get in bad shape
depends on the individual alot.

Now that you have moved on to heal
yourself one of the things you
will have to address is your
tendencies to focus on him and his
problem even though you are apart.

Often it is hard to change the
focus of your attentions to yourself
and begin to reshape your own life
including your own thoughts and emotions.

You no longer have to be concerned with
what he is doing or how his life
will unfold.

This is your time to remake yourself
so you can avoid attracting men with
these problems.

Take care!
