Question
My fiance is a alcoholic and still drinks. After I can back from a trip by myself I noticed I had jewelry missing and my grandfathers 100 year coffee grinder, which he knows is dear to me.. He thought that when i got back that I was going to leave him. This was in nov. 2011. It's January now and I just found out lastweek that he took the grinder, he told me that he was going to have it fixed for me for christmas. Today I found my antique jewelry in a bag in his car. What was he going to do with this and why do they do this. I feel that I ccan't really trust him anymore but have no where else to go. He doen't know that I found this. He told me awhile back that he was going to quit drinking but has not even after it almost killed him last March.Sayiing that it was my fault he almost died because I left him (3rd time) and he over drank tried to quit himself ended up in rehab for 30 days. What is the reason for all of this?

Answer
HI Deb\,

There is no rhyme or reason with an alcoholic. Consuming alcohol will always be the first choice with an alcoholic. It destroys human relationships.  Alcohol affect people in different ways. If you want to understand more about alcoholism. Please read:
