Addiction to Alcohol/health benefits 9

Question
Hello, I have many family members who drink alcohol because they claim experts say it has healthful benefits. But it looks to me as a trap or permission to start down the road to alcoholism. I have had many family members die from the disease over the years. I do not drink myself at all and I feel really awkward around  those who do as it seems to rule them socially. Do you think there is any truth to the health benefits claim.

Answer
HI TANIA,

Complete balderdash. Alcohol may be harmless in small quantities, but can be harmful when one becomes addicted to it. Read:
