Question
I have read time and time again that alcohol is more addicting to more people than marijuana, cocaine and heroin put together ... is this true? Can you share a cite?

I do not have any survey information, but the workshops I have attended all agree that cocaine is the easiest to get addicted to, and marijuana has the highest relapse rate. Alcohol is socially acceptable so it is definitely more available. Perhaps that is what they mean. I do not find alcohol more addicting than any other drug.
