Dear Rocky,

Please specify the geographical area for which you need information on, since I come from India and the campus environment here is totally different from campuses in other parts of the world; though we do have problems of alcohol and/or other drugs among the students here which is on the increase.

I am afraid I am unable to provide enough information about drinking on campuses in the United States.  You could however, find some information on these sites:

The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism should be able to give you the exact stats as they from time to time have been doing research on the campuses across the United States.  Browse through their web site
www.niaaa.nih.gov and you could also write to them for more information.
