Addiction to Alcohol/Daughter an alcoholic?

Question
My daughter is getting married in a few weeks.  I am growing increasingly concerned about her and her future husband'd alcohol use (particularly wine).  There is alcoholism in both their families.  I would like to approach them both about my concerns  and wondered if you would have a suggestion as to how to phrase it.  Of course I want the "magic" words that will open their eyes, but any suggestions would be helpful.

Answer
Dear Laura,

I understand your position, but it is very unfortunate that alcoholics - and of course we don't know whether they are alcoholics - must reach "rock bottom" before they are ready to do anything about their alcoholism.

You could not do much. it has to come from them. They must WANT to be treated.

'The only thing you can do try to understand that alcoholism is a real disease, that can be treated like any other disease.
