Hello my husband was in a terrible accident and he is now completely detoxed what is a good drink to give him at home to help with his addiction, so that he has something to drink. He wants a fruit juice that is also fizzy.

wanting fizzy non-alcohol drinks is just
a sign that he is having trouble letting
go of his drinking pattern.
I did this too in recovery, trying to bring
back the feeling good days by drinking something
that reminds me of it. It is part of the
letting go process and hopefully
he will become aware of the danger of
substitution. When drinking days are over
it is time to let go of the fantasy of
being able to ever drink normally again.
Just get him anything non-alcoholic like
sparkling fruit juices if he needs it
to fizz.
