Addiction to Alcohol/Sorry I did not reply sooner....

QuestionSorry I did not reply sooner. I told my teacher about my drinking problem and she told my parents who then searched my room and yelled at me. They moved all the bottles to a higher shelf and took inventory of how many and of what they had.
Is loss of appitite, vivid dreams, insomnia and craving alcohol withdrawl symptoms?
AnswerGood morning again Alison:
Thank you for your response to my answer.
A very definite YES to your new question.
Instead of your parents yelling at you and moving (then maybe hiding) their bottles why don't you tell them to go to AlAnon and that you go to your counsellor at school and tell he/she that you want to stop drinking and how can the school help you to stop drinking.
I don't know how old you are but if you are in your teens you should look into going to Alcoholics Anonymous. The longer you continue to drink the worse your life, health and withdrawls will become. You had better start thinking about doing something about your drinking problem now! If not you will surely die a drunks death ...which isn't very pretty. Instead of writing to me please go to your counsellor at school and talk to her/him. There have to be many kids at school who have the same problem. There is no shame in having a drinking problem...the shame is in doing nothing about it. Have courage and thank you Rebos.
