I am currently going to be tested for alcohol consumption. I understand there is a test (EBT ? ) that can go back a few days. How many? I last drank 6 days ago. About 5 drinks or so. What is the correct name of the test and how long will the alcohol register in my liver count. I am really tring to stop. I just slipped. Thanks! Rod

Alcohol is metabolized at the rate of about 1 ounce per hour, in a healthy individual. I am not aware of any test that would scan for alcohol if enough time has passed to metabolize the alcohol. So you should be safe. I would recommend AA for now. I have been a member of AA for almost 15 years now. I wasn't always sober, but I have 6 years of no alcohol or drug use. One day at a time my friend, one day at a time.
