I'm sorry for bothering you. I know you probably get a lot of questions everyday but I was hoping you might know the answer to my question. I read your one answer to the lady with her boyfriend peeing in the bed. Well my dad does that as well. Every night. Hes 44 years old and has been drinking for as long as I can remember. He pees in the bed just about every night. He drinks about a 30 pk every 2-3 days. I was wondering if he has a poison or something thats causing him to do this. We think his Kidneys might shut down but we really don't know. I'm 18 years old and my twin brother and sister are really worried about him. My mom drinks whiskey but not as much as my dad. She drinks every night too but she doesn't get as bad as my dad gets... Can you please tell me if we should do something or if he'll be ok. He wont go to the doctor and he wont listen to us. He says he's gonna live doing the things he loves doing and that make him happy rather than dying unhappy. He just doesn't think about a lot of things. Just please tell me if you know anything.

Your father sounds like he is an alcoholic. If he doesn't want to change, there is nothing you can do. He gets so drunk that he loses control of his bladder. You need to find a group called Alanon or Alateen which helps children of alcoholics. Good luck.
