Question
hi, i was just wondering if i have a merging problem with alchohol?
im only 15 but i get drunk at least 3 times a week, beacuse i prefer being drunk then being sober. my boyfriend i get drunk till we pass out sometimes. i tend to drink lots of red and white wine, port, sherry and my favourite, vodka. and im failing school because i never have the enthusiasm to do my homework and i tend to get depressed sometimes about alcohol and what its doing to me. but the other thing in the morning i always feel so shameful beacuse of the stupid stuff ive done the night/day before hand and then i say to myself that i will not drink for another week. which i dont and by the time that weeks over im craving alcohol again. and sometimes i can go ages and ages and not even think of alcohol but sometimes the cravings are unbearable.

Answer
Good morning Candy:

Thank you for your question.

I am not familiar with the term “merging with alcohol”. However, if you think that you are having a drinking and or drug problem I recommend that you speak to your school counselor, to your mother/father, favorite aunt/uncle and hopefully start attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. Thank you Rebos
