Addiction to Drugs/drug test

Question
If you show a positive for meth on a dipstick drugscreen, but you show a negative for amphetamines, doesn`t this indicate that the positive for meth is actually a false positive?

Answer
Hi larry,

I believe "meth" and amphetamine is the same thing. The best is to ask the person who is testing. I specialize in the treatment of drug addiction, not in testing for drugs.
