i just found i was pregnant yesterday, called OBGYN they estimate about 5 weeks based on last period, I take percocets legally by prescription 5x day, last script I'm weened down to 4x a day, now yesterday I found I'm preg. Can I wean my self off? is it early enough to prevent harm from my unborn baby, i cant stop cold turkey because i have been taking percocets for over 4 years straight on a daily basis. please help me so I don't go crazy worrying. so far since i found out yesterday i was preg, i took one around 5pm, one at 8:30 before work and one now today at 11:15am, thats the best and longest in between i have ever gone but I'm trying my damndest! (my script is written for 4 a day now)

Just continue to wean yourself off and talk to your doctor about it. You can do it. If you have adverse withdrawal symptoms have your doctor help you, that is what his job is. After all, he/she put you on them, but don't quit cold turkey and put yourself and the baby at risk.
Get the medical care that you need to focus on having a happy and healthy baby and mommy needs to be happy and healthy too.
