Question
My son is on meth he does want to get off. He is shooting up  Please help! I have no insurance and any county program I found takes over 3 months just to get in He will be dead by them hes only 24 please what do I do???

Hi Dana,

This is a difficult situation. If he does not want to give up meth, there is little you can do. Most addicts won't give up, because they cannot give up. Addicts need to be motivated if they want to treat drug addiction. I have known parents to report their sons' meth use to the police as a last resort. This is called "tough love". Maybe you should first talk to a doctor to see what can be done.
