Question
Hi there!  Thank you for helping people by volunteering for this service.  I am 24 yr old female, and I spend every waking hour high on pot.  I don't even get high anymore, I have no memory, my life feels like a dream.  Little things seem like such a huge effort, (calling people back!) and I don't want to live like this anymore.  My roommate and I have decided to quit.  What kind of withdrawal symptoms will I experience?  How can I make this a smooth transition?  Any advice would be appreciated!  Thank you!

Answer
Start by making a schedule and making your mind focus. You will experience headaches and irritability and probably sleeplessness but you have to keep focused on it. You can see a doctor for a check up to make sure you are ok and that you have not done any long term damage and I suggest it. You both need to get on a diet that is healthy and regulated and it must include lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. You have to basically help stimulate your brain again without the drugs.
