Answer Dear cynthia,
You are one of many unlucky parents who have found out that your children have become a drug-addict. This is indeed very hard. So long they are in denial, there is little you can do. They need to reach rock-bottom before they are ready to do something about their drug addiction. Their rock-bottom is very much related to values systems. Is there anything in life she values more that drugs?
See:
Values Clarification course at:

It is a mistake to believe that drug addiction is a purely mental problem. Most drug addicts are found to be hypoglycemic according to some medical tests as explained at our web site.
She can also test herself with the
The Nutrition-Behavior Inventory Questionnaire (NBI) at:
http://www.hypoglycemia.asn.au/articles/nutrition-behavior_inventory.html
and the
The Hypo Quizz at:
http://www.hypoglycemia.org/hypo_test.asp
Thus the first step in treatment is going on a hypoglycemic diet. The underlying biochemistry is explained in:
Drug Addiction is a Nutritional Disorder at:
http://www.hypoglycemia.asn.au/articles/drug_addictions_nutritional_disorder.htm...
I hope you can resolve the problem.
The best is to consult a Nutritional Doctor or a Clinical Nutritionist.
I hope I have been of some help.
