Answer
Hello jessica,

Being emotionally involved with a drug addict is going to be very hard for you. Drug addiction is difficult to treat, BUT IT CAN BE TREATED if he is motivated.

The first is to get detoxified. This is best done in the hands of a detoxification centre under the supervision of a doctors. Please read:

Treatment of Drug Addiction at:

Then read:

Drug Addiction is a Nutritional Disorder at:

Most drug addicts are found to be hypoglycemic and this needs to be treated by going on a hypoglycemic diet.

Please read:

Depression is a Nutritional Disorder at:

Self-help Personal Growth Psychotherapy at:

and ask for a referral to a Nutritional Doctor, a Clinical Nutritionist or a Nutritional Psychologist.

I hope I have been of some help.
