Addiction to Drugs/what is Roxy

Question
what is Roxy? Someone told me that my son had snorted a half of a Roxy. He is so out of control and I am just so tried of bailing him out. Today he got a speeding ticket, then wrecked his car and got 2 more tickets. I am so thankful no one got hurt. Now he is acting very sleepy and hard to wake up. I am just so tired, and dont know what else to do. He is 17 and I have taken him to the Behavoir Center but he quit going. When he gets into trouble he is always threating to kill himself. What else can I do to help him.

Answer
Hi Susan,

I can only guess that Roxy means any of the addictive drugs your son is using.

I can guess that your son is addicted to some drugs that gets him into trouble with the law.  If you want to treat drug addiction one has to understand that it is a physiological disease as any other disease. Most dug addicts are hypoglycemic and so the first step in treatment is going on a hypoglycemic diet.

or otherwise discuss this with a Nutritional Doctor, a Clinical Nutritionist or a Nutritional Psychologist if you want to.
