Addiction to Drugs/Marijuana

Question
Hello, and thank you for your future reply.

I'm a grade 12 student in British Columbia, Canada. I am active in recreational hockey, and part-time training in mixed martial arts. I have been smoking Marijuana for about a year and a half now, and consider myself a medium user. I have no intention on quitting as I am a recreational user and have found no harm in doing so to my body funtion, or mental capabilities. I understand your answer could be biased, as most scholars are about this topic because the substance is illegal. However, I ask for 100% of your honesty.

Why, for a drug that is deemed dangerous by both the Canadian and American government, is it not affecting my body funtion? I have done plenty of research and found some alarming statistics.
- Not one person has died from marijuana use in history
- Brain Damage has never been proven. In fact, there was a university study that SUGGESTED that marijuana use could actually stimulate cell production
- No cases of cancer from use
- No cases of emphesyma, black lung, lung cancer etc.
- Hormonal damage has never been proven
- as well as many more....

So my main question to you is, is there something im really missing? or is this a government conspiracy? I kindly ask that you don't feed me lies about it's harms, because i'm more educated than the average teenager about what goes into my body. One lung specialist I have gone to actually told me that im at risk for emphesyma. But is it not true that that is illogical due to the fact there has never been a single case of marijuana only smokers getting emphesyma?

Thanks again, Hector

Answer
Your point of view is valid.

There has not been scientifically confirmed harm from marijuana.

But that refers to 100% natural Marijuana and not the kinds of marijuana that you find today which are chemically altered with some other substances that may cause cancer or lung problems.

In second place, you have a problem similar to tobacco smoking which is the resins that accumulate in your veins and lungs with prolonged use.

100% natural organic marijuana is even found in several medicinal herbal books but they call for it only in its pure organic form without any kind of chemical added.

Be your own judge!
