Answer
Dear brooke,

Whether you are doing damage to your unborn child depends on your individual circumstances. But an addiction during pregnancy can certainly damage the baby. I suggest that you tell the doctor the truth about your addiction. To overcome addiction I recommend you read:

Drug Addiction is a Nutritional Disorder at:

Please go on the hypoglycemic diet at:

I suggest that you discuss your circumstances with a paediatrician and a Nutritional Doctor, Clinical Nutritionist or Nutritional Psychologist.
