Addiction to Drugs/my 20 yr old son

Question
I found burnt tin foil and a hollowed out pen as well as 2 small ballons in my son's room which he was trying to hide as I walked in... He told me it was hash.  I had found it before and took his word that it was not his, it was.  He does not hang out with the same group of friends he has had for 15 years... and the new friends are all bad news.
I called his Best friend who informed me my son has been doing oxycotin.  I think it is a synthetic form of heroin.  My husband and I are looking into a rehab for him... not sure what to do... He is my only son and my whole life and I am scared.  He was supposed to go into the COast Guard in Jan.  but failed the drug test.. it was there in front of my eyes and I didn't want to believe it.  How can I help my son ?

Answer
Hi Vickie.

Well it is obvious that your son has a drug addiction problem. Please read:

Most teenagers smoke marijuana or resort to drugs to self-medicate against emotional disorder at:

Drug Addiction is a Nutritional Disorder at:

Please discuss with a Nutritional Doctor, Clinical Nutritionist or a Nutritional Psychologist.
