Question
My friend has a 21yr old daughter here in East London South Africa who takes the above, she needs help but unfortunately the home here will only have a bed available in 2 weeks time. I need a contact person here in East London who has dealt with a heroine addict to look after her during the day while her mother works until the home can take her.
Can you help me, please it's a matter of life or death!!!

Answer
Hi jo demetriou

I can give  only advice as to how  have been able to help drugs addicts by nutritional means. They have to be motivated. Please read the following articles:

Treatment of Drug Addiction at:
http://www.hypoglycemia.asn.au/articles/treatment_drug_addiction.html

Drug Addiction is a Nutritional Disorder at:
http://www.hypoglycemia.asn.au/articles/drug_addictions_nutritional_disorder.htm...

It is best to consult a Nutritional Doctor, Clinical Nutritionist or a Nutritional Psychologist.
I hope I have been of some help.
