Addiction to Drugs/Ambien withdrawl

Question
I am going through Ambien withdrawl and do not have insurance to go to a detox center, However, I am experienceing extreme insomnia, and rapid heartbeat, pit in the stomach feelings, etc. when I try to lie down and sleep. Was trying to dymystify the sleep issue because I believe my addiction came about bc I was afraid of not being able to sleep. I have always been afraid one can die or become crazy from insomnia. Is there truth to this or is this something I can sinply wait out and will eventually fall asleep without the pills? I had been seeing doctors but they just want me to keep taking the ambien which is just taking control of my life.  Thank you

Answer
Dear Lena,

It is not easy to withdraw. Please read:

People who are addicted to drugs usually produce too much adrenaline. Adrenaline functions to increase blood sugar level in order to feed the brain. Addicted people are usually hypoglycemic, meaning they have unstable blood sugar levels. This is why you are over-producing adrenaline. This causes anxiety and insomnia. Please try to take GLYCERINE to stabilize blood sugar levels. Please search our web site for GLYCERINE for how to take it.  This should help you with sleeping better and withdrawing. The best is to withdraw from drugs very gradually, preferably under doctor's supervision. It is more important to get your body to produce proper levels of  feel good neurotransmitters by going on a hypoglycemic diet. Search for "Hypoglycemic Diet" and vitamins and minerals. Once you start to feel better you will not need any more drugs, but be patient. It may take some time.

Let me know how you go.
