Question
Hi,
I have a 20 yr old son on crack, possibly herion, he has been keeping the drug use a secret, so only recently I became aware. He is an adult what are my options to get him help? I recently told him to get help or get out, he moved in with my neighbor and is not getting any help, only doing it more. I am at a wits end. I don't want to lose my son to the crack.

HI Ellen,
This is sad situation to be in, but you did right by putting limits on acceptable behaviour. Drug addiction is a disease in the literal sense of the word. THe person can treat himself once he understands the biochemical underpinnings of the illness. If you son is interested in treating himself, he should read:
