Question
sir,
i am not aware exactly, that to which drug i am addicted, but i will explain the method of intake. here in our region it is called powder or mall. the color of this powder is grey, light brown, or some times dark brown, we use aluminum foil to melt it and inhale its vapor through another roll of aluminum foil, after inhaling we use to take big puff of cigarette. this we repeat 7-8 times in one go. i wanted to know the name of this drug and procedure to quit. one thing i know that this is killing me. i feel very difficult to leave it for more than 24 hrs. PLEASE HELP.

Answer
Kamal,

I would say this is some form of heroin; crack is usually white, or off-white, so that doesn't seem to be it.  Of course these drugs act completely different in the body, but both are very highly addictive.  Crack is a stimulant and gives an "up" feeling, heroin (and other opiates) are narcotics, and produce a sleepy, dreamy, downer type effect.

At any rate, I would recommend you investigate treatment options in your community.  Are you in school?  Maybe they have a substance abuse professional on staff.  You may need medical attention to help with withdrawal.

I would act on this quickly!
