Question
how long and is there anything i can do to help with the weakNESS im 10 days clean but so weAk please anything will help

Answer
Hi Chris,

You didn't mention what you are detoxing from, but I'm going to assume it's an opiate.

Opioid detoxes are difficult in general with their many physical symptoms.  It take time for your body to acclimate.  It all depends on how much you were using and for how long.  More use over a longer period means a tougher detox.

Are you "kicking" on your own, or did you get medical help in a detox center?  Was any opioid replacement drug given to you, like Methadone or Suboxone?  These can be very helpful and highly recommended.  I would suggest you discuss this with a substance abuse counselor or talk with your doctor.

Best,
Peter
