Answer
Hi christine,

It is always difficult to help people who are using drugs and are in denial about being addicted.

The only way you can help your son is by understanding why some people become addicted to drugs and others do not.  Most drug addict are hypoglycemic which interferes with the production of biological energy that is necessary to produce feel good neurotransmitters. Hence most drug addicts don't feel good about themselves and use drugs as an antidote. Thus drug addiction is primarily a biological disorder that can be treated by a change in diet. Please familiarize yourself with the connection between drug addiction (or any other mood disorder for that matter) and nutrition by reading te following articles:

Drug Addiction is a Nutritional Disorder at:

and discuss this with a Nutritional Doctor, Clinical Nutritionist or a Nutritional Psychotherapist, if self-help therapy fails.
