Addiction to Drugs/my wife and cocaine

Question
Hello, this is my last ditch effort for advice. I'm 29 and my wife is 28. She when we first began our marriage we had a child that she breast fed for 2 years. Shortly after we had another. After his birth she bottle fed him and a couple months later I discovered she was starting to use cocaine. She would stay gone sometimes for days at a time.3 years and almost 18k later I had her committed to the state after she threatened suicide. She got out and was clean 100 days before she relapsed. Now she is leaving again and I am tired of it. She left last night and still has not returned as it is almost 1 o'clock in the afternoon. I am a recovering cocaine addict myself. When I was a teenager I went to rehab and while I was there my father passed away. I didn't use again for 2 years until she brought it home. I do NOT want to use and the only times I have relapsed is when she has put it in my face. I understand addiction is a beast that that is hard to kill and I feel she is poison for me and my sons. I do not want her to bring anymore drugs around me and I want to lead a clean life with her. But I feel its to late and I should pack me and my sons up and leave her behind. as for the kids they have never been exsposed to this. It has always occurred at night while they sleep. I have never used drugs around them or allowed her to. Please, I need advice on what to do.

Answer
HI mike,

I know how addiction can be a killer, but it is much easier to treat once you understand the underlying biochemical mechanism why some people become addicted and others not.

Most addictive people are hypoglycemic as a primary cause of depression and addiction. I have no doubt in my mind that you wife is hypoglycemic that can  cause all sorrts of emotional problems. Please get her to read:
