Question
On Sunday at 4:00 PM i relapsed after over 2 years clean i insufflated 30 mg of oxycodone, i am currently on probation. I have a urine test on this coming Wednesday at around 4:30 PM;. I am  21 year old male, roughly 5'8" and weigh 135 pounds. I would like to know with your expertise whether my urine will be clean by then. After i type this i will be looking for an out patient program so that i can begin the process of being able to stay clean again and i also have been attending N.A. meeting during the past 2 years. I thought i finally had my life together again but a lot can change in a day, waking up with the wrong mind state. I have worked hard in the past 2 years to obtain a full time job and finally get my own apartment. I don't want all of this to be thrown away because of one stupid decision. Can you please let me know if my urine will be clean by the time i take my drug test and if not what can i drink, eat or do in order to speed up this process of cleaning my system. I work a manual labor job and i am on my feet all day, also i do a little bit of heavy lifting at work. I also plan on working out during the next couple of days to speed up my metabolize. Can you tell me anything that i can do to make sure that i am clean for this test. Right away i regretted my decision and i don't want to let my family down. Letting myself down has been bad enough and i hate that i have burdened them with my problems over the years with my drug abuse. They have been so proud of me in the past 2 years for staying clean. Please give me any advise you can to insure that my urine will be clean on Wednesday and i would appreciate if you didn't give me advise on coming clean to probation or my family, i have thought about it but it is not worth hurting my family again and risking everything that i have worked for. I will however be coming clean to my sponsor and at the next N.A. meeting. Sorry if my question was long but i just wanted to give you all the facts so that you would be able to answer my question with the most accuracy. Thank you for listening and hopefully i will hear from you soon.
Thank you so much.

Answer
Hi joey,

The fact that you relapsed means that you never have been properly treated for your addiction. It is not so much a matter of mind, but rather an unhealthy body not being able to produce the right neurotransmitters and hormones to make you feel better about yourself. Please read:
