I have drank from the age of thirteen and smoked daily cannabis and skunk for more or less the same time ,now at 27 i have come to a point of reflection and tired with both habits,i am unaware why i have relied on both to different deegres.I find i am unable to lead a normal life and most of the time every day tasks are taught off 1000 times or more before being carried out if done at all, i suffer badly with anxiety to the point that i become paranoid i know a doctor needs to be contacted but i find the trip too overwhelming to take and im worried about having such information documented as it may cause more harm than good.I need help but what type i don't know and alternative medicines are unavailable to me as i am in the public stream of access, please help even if it is just hope that it is possible to get out of this constant mind set.Thanking you Gerry

Answer
Hi gerry

I understand d what you are talking about. Drug addiction is often regarded as a "mental" disorder, but in fact it is a physical disorder.

You may be able to treat yourself if you are motivated and understand why people become addicted to substances.
