Question
Hi, I have been addicted to hydrocodone and Lortab pills for about 3 years now.  I buy them from co-workers and wherever I can get them.  If I don't have them, I can't work, sleep, or basically anything.  I informed my doctor of this and he put me on the catapres patch which is originally used for high blood pressure, but helps with opiate withdrawal.  I take between 8-10 pills per day give or take.  I work 12 hours per day and have many bills and much stress.  Do you have any advice for me or do you know of an alternative for me?  Thanks.

Hi James,

I know that hydrocodone addiction  is a difficult addiction. Still you need to be detoxified under doctor's supervision and then adopt the hypoglycem ic diet.

Most addicted people are found to be hypoglycemic when tested with the four hour medical Test for Hypoglycemia at:
