Question I'm directing this question to you because percocet is said to be synthetic heroine.
I just want to know if there is any additional effects when combining percocet and marijuana?
Answer Percocet is an opiate based painkiller. It is not synthetic heroin. You are thinking of Morphine or perhaps even Demerol.
In Europe and other places where Marijuana is frequently prescribed for medical use, opiate painkillers are often used in conjunction with the pot.
I'm not clear of your question though. When you ask about "additional effects" are you referring to side effects, long term medical effects, or the high it produces?
I will answer all three but will limit the third.
There are no additional side effects. A user might still experience the individual side effects of both, but that's not likely. Any side effects will probably come from the stronger drug. (Percocet is the stronger drug here but I'll get to that in a minute)
Percocet (Percodan), Oxycontin (Oxycodone), Darvocet (Darvon), Vicoden (Hydrocodone), and Codeine are all opiate based (and therefore narcotic) painkillers. There are many others but these are the most commonly prescribed (or available if you're obtaining them illegally). These pills are highly addictive and do produce an effect that is somewhat similar to heroin. Opiates are pretty dominant over other drugs. This means that if you mix and match drugs, the dominant one will be the effect you feel the most. Sometimes it will be the only effect you feel. Marijuana has side effects that include dry mouth, paranoia, nausea, etc. Of those, the only that would probably be prevalent would be the dry mouth, and that would be from both the pot and pills. If you ate pills and smoked pot you might get nauseous, but that too would probably be the pills.
As for long term medical effects, no, they would not be increased or enhanced if you combined painkillers and pot. Your long term side effects from the pills are basically physical addiction and psychological addiction. Taking enough of them over time will also damage your liver. Most painkillers contain Tylenol (acetaminophen) which damages your liver over time if taken in quantity.
Pot kills brain cells, plain and simple. Smoke enough and you will officially become a dumb-ass.
As for the high it produces, I basically answered that above when addressing side effects.
Keep this in mind though: Doing drugs is dangerous; mixing them together is even worse. More people die from mixing dope than just sticking with what they know.
