Question
Hello,
My doctor put me on Ultram 50mg 4 times a day 5 years ago.The last time i saw him,he told me that i would have to start getting the medicine from my gp doctor.I went to my gp and he wouldn't give them to me.Now i have read that they are habit forming and i feel really sick.Who can i contact about this problem? Thank you for your help.

Answer
Hi Ellie,

I am really sorry to hear for the way you have been treated by doctors. Your GP probably refused to prescribe this drug because of its habit forming side effects. Thus he must have your interest at heart.

Please discuss your problems with your doctor for other treatments.

There are alternative treatments for pain, depending what causes it.
