Question
i was seeing a woman for 1 year. we talked about marriage and even went out a picked out rings.
she has 2 children and they loved me and i them, also her parents and grand parents loved me. we got along great and she said i was the man for her. she got a new job and the hours sucked for her. within three weeks it was over between us.
now she doesn't even want me to see her at all. i was nothing but good to her and i can think of any rational reason for this. she has a past history of meth use, also she is borderline anorexic and washes her hands many many times a day til they are raw and bleeding. we attended church exct. and were talking to a pastor about marraige. my question; is it possible that she started using meth again or possibly cocain?
also she started hanging out with a biker crowed. my main concern is the kids i am very fond of them and i hate to think of them going through this.
i think she doesn't want me to see her ( i mean visually) because of her weight loss ( she weighted abot 110lbs 6 weeks ago but i think she may be under 100 now , but this is second hand knowlage

Answer
Hello ray,

I get the impression that your partner is a drug addict. If this is the case then there is little we can do,  unless she is willing to go into treatment.

As a nutritional psychologist I know that drug addicts have a metabolic disorder that causes them to be addicted. It can be treated without recourse to drugs by nutritional means.

But the person must be willing to undergo treatment.

The latter applies to all addicts.
