Question
I have been taking Loratab for my bad teeth and just to get high.  If someone has a mental problem before taking this, Well does this drug mess with their head psycologically?  I feel I  get weirded out. Thanks

Answer
Hi, thanks for your question. If you have existing mental problems the drug could cause you to get "weirded out". Opiates like Lortabs really affect the "feel good" chemicals in our brains and when you're not taking them you can really often feel pretty bummed and off center.
If you have dental problems severe enough to take Lortabs then I would really recommend that you try to have them fixed so you can stop taking the pills. Opiate addiction is not something to be taken lightly...if you find that you can't quit taking the pills after you take care of your teeth, then find some sort of counseling to help you get past the cravings for the drug. If you see a psychiatrist or psychologist, then please let them know what's going on so they can help you through this.
I hope that this helps.
Good Luck,
Charles
