Addiction to Drugs/drug effects

Question
I am wondering if there is any known evidence of the effects of crystal meth. and blood circulation, even  a lasting effect involving the veins. Background: I had used this drug recreationally about 4 times in the past and found that my veins have permanantly darkened to almost a black shade. Also, in coming down from the drug, there was a severe problem with blood circulation to the point of blueing of the feet. My veins are still dark and I have not touched any drugs since. It is also hard for me to have blood taken from a doctor because of my veins. Just looking for some more information. Haven't been able to find any studies.

Answer
Hi Joyce,

Crystal meth is a street name for methamphetamine, which can be smoked or injected.

I personally have not see the damaged veins as a result of the drug, I strongly suggest that you consult a doctor about this.

Most people who get involved with drugs are in fact depressed people without them realizing them.

If you feel you want to do something about this part, please come back and let me know.
