Hey Tara!

My ex is an herione addict, in active addiction. Herione is so powerful, deadly, and his only friend. He has been locked up many times, and does not stop. He's been to rehabs, had so many chances has been given to him...

If an addict (or junkies, witch they are) does not what to stop, he/she won't. FULL STOP. Herione is difficult to leave, the withdrawals are physical. The body is use to functioning with the herione, and if there is herione, everything go's haywire!! Cramps every where! Stomach, legs, arms, vomiting, they can not sit still!! It's HECTIC to go trough withdrawals!!

That is part of the reason why it is so difficult to quite. And then it's not for pleasure anymore, it's becomes like an extra organ that needs feeding.

Addiction is a life long disease, not using. If you went to rehab and is clean, you work towards your lifelong sobriety! I know people who have quited and are still clean, and others that have relapsed. You need to surround yourself with sober friend and so on...

I was in a rehab for crack/cocaine addiction, and there I was told that only 2% of recovering addicts "make it". It is shocking, I know but it's fact. Your brain is reconstructed trough out using and it is difficult to be sober and a changed person if everything and everyone is still the same! And you will be surprised to know that addiction is very similar to every one. They do the same thing, making plans, stealing, lying, conning, using...

Anyway, good luck to you! But remember, if your friend doesn't what to be helped, there's nothing you can do for her.

>>LEIGH<< :)

TARA RIGHT KNOW YOU HAVE TWO CHOICES GET HER IN A METHODONE PROGRAM, AT LEAST SHE WON'T DIE ON THE STREET. WALK HER TO REHAB BEST BET IT IS EASIER TO GET OFF HEROIN AND CRACK THEN IT IS METHODONE. BUT WHAT METHODONE DOES FOR YOU IT LETS YOU LEAD A PRODUCTIVE LIFE. i WAS ON METHODONE FOR 20 YEARS. AT LEAST SHE WILL SURVIVE
