Question
I have been dating this girl for 7 months now. She ran away from home when she was 16 but now at 21 she has a good relationship  with her family. She was used to be a cocaine addict amongst other drugs. Recently she has been doing E on the weekends and just told me that she has done cocaine "once or twice" in the past 7 months. I dont know what I should do since when I talk about it she gets very defensive. What do I do ? Is this an addict covering up her addiction ?

Answer
Hello Josh,

This must be very difficult for you. It is not easy to treat drug addiction, for the person must want to do this. They have to be motvated! You cannot treat a drug addict against their will.

But drug addiction is a real disease and if you want to help a person get off drugs you need to know the nature of the disease.  Most drug addict are found to be hypoglycemic and so the first step is going on a hypoglycemic diet.

Please read:

Drug Addiction is  Nutritional Disorder at:

as an explanation.

I hope I have been helpful.
