My brother has been addicted to heroin for at least 10 years. He is young,only 25 tears old. He has been in rehab 3 times, and has always relapsed. My parents have helped him all that I think they can. He is 30 thousand dollars in debt.He has now resorted to stealing from them. What should they do?
The hardest thing to do is not enable them, especially when you love them. If he is stealing from them maybe having him arrested is the best option, although it will also be the hardest emotionally. Tough love is what he needs to maybe realize that it is a real problem.
