Question i have been scouring the internet for info on snorting vicodin and percocet for three hours and have yet to find any. the reason i ask is i have picked up the habit. i dont believe im addicted to it, or any of the other drugs i do. i tend to do them few and far between, i.e. recreationally. regardless, id like to know the affect it can have on the body and mind, for moderate use and for heavy abuse. if you could tell me or give me an internet reference it would be appreciated. also what exactly is the diffence between vicodin and percocet? finnaly how likly is it to get addicted to it and what are the exact sign. so i know the diffence between wanting to chill and have some, and actully being addicted. thanx
Answer Mike,
The medical aspects of your questions are out of my area, since I am not an MD.
Even though my field is psychology, I don't feel qualified to diagnose serious mental problems on the basis of one letter.
I am not trying to 'upset' you, Partner. For all I know, your questions may be someones idea of a 'joke'. (I almost did not respond to your questions because my first thought was "some college kid with too much time on his hands is looking to have a little 'fun'.)
Why do I even think this, You may ask? Put yourself in my place. Someone walks up to you and asks your advice about 'recreational' vomiting by injesting known toxic substances. You see what I mean?
If I were going to try some new 'recreational' sport or exercise, I would certainly check with an 'authority' first....(my local gym, my doctor, etc.)
Now, if I already knew they would tell me not to even think about it, I certainly wouldn't ask. Right?
If I knew what I was plananing to 'try' on a strictly 'recreational' basis was already illegal and could get me into serious trouble, I wouldn't ask ANYONE who knew me personally. (such as a parent, teacher, good friend, etc.)
At this point, I would come to the realization I was ALREADY in serious trouble. Why do I want to even think about doing something I recognize as filled with potential danger, potential physical, mental, moral and legal pitfalls?
"I must be nuts", I can hear myself thinking.
Of course, that's just me, Mike. I am an adult. I live a fairly normal and happy life. I love myself, and many people, I believe, love me. I have no desire to screw it all up out of unhealthy curiousity.
Do yourself a favor, Mike. Find someone whose opinion you value, and who you know will be honest with you. Show them this answer, and ask for their opinion.
Please write again, and let me know how you made out. I care.
