Addiction to Drugs/urine

Question
hello,
i occasionally like to take a bong hit here and there but have urine tests about every two weeks. my life is stressful and yoga and meditation does not always work. I also like to go out and have a good time. I am not a drinker. In my opinion alcohol is one of the worst drugs there is. While everyone is drinking I enjoy smoking maybe half a joint or doing two bong hits. I am not minimizing my usage. If i stay only doing this amount once every two weeks how long will the thc stay in my system? I exercise on a regular basis as well and drink plenty of fluids. So far I have passed tests that have been about three to four days after I have used. They were negative.I used no covering agents either. Am I pushing my luck? If I stay to once every two weeks I mean?

Answer
Hello meri york,

Yes, you are pushing your luck.  It sounds to me as though you are addicted to marijuana as a form of self-medication against anxiety attacks or depression.

I cannot help you if you WANT to continue drugs, but I can help you if you WANT t=o live and enjoy life WITHOUT drugs of any kind.

Most people in your position have hypoglycemia that compel the them to use drugs  - legal or illegal - to counteract the symptoms of hypoglycemia.

You can test yourself for hypoglycemia with the NBI at our web site at:

The Nutrition-Behavior Inventory Questionnaire (NBI) at:
http://www.hypoglycemia.asn.au/articles/nutrition-behavior_inventory.html

If you want to live a life free of drugs, please go on the hypoglycemic diet as the first step in treatment.

We also have a Self-help PSYCHOTHERAPY course at;
http://www.hypoglycemia.asn.au/i-psychotherapy.html

that you should study from the beginning to the end. You could also read my book "Getting off the Hook freely available on the internet (Google book search).

This all depends on your motivation and what you regard as being really important in your life.
