Answer
Hi Michael,

I think what happened is that when you broke your wrist you were in pain and so you took pain killers. But it may have activated an underlying metabolic disorder that may have existed prior to your breaking your wrist. Thus you may have been vulnerable to emotional disorders and took marijuana that may have counteracted the symptoms.

Please test yourself with the

The Nutrition-Behavior Inventory Questionnaire (NBI) at:
http://www.hypoglycemia.asn.au/articles/nutrition-behavior_inventory.html

and if you score high it could indicate that you have hypoglycemia. People with hypoglycemia are vulnerable to drug addiction, sensitive to pain and general stresses.

Going on a hypoglycemic diet would help you overcome some of the symptoms.
