Question
hi, I would like to make changes to an adobe file and don't know how. Is it possibe???

Answer
Hi Dominick,

The answer is yes and no. It all depends on if you are using the Professional version of Acrobat and not Reader, and it is limited at best.

Using Acrobat Professional, you have the ability to use the Touch-Up Text tool to select text and make changes, so long as the character set you are changing is fully embedded within the document.

A plug-in called Pitstop gives you even more control and will allow you to do editing quite a lot easier and with better results.

Another option, would be to open the pdf in Illustrator and load the fonts you need. This will be a tedious task as there will likely be several clipping masks or compound paths you will need to contend with.

Thanks,
