Adobe Acrobat/Printing problem with Acrobat 8 Professional

Question
I am unable to print pdfs to our network printer - Xerox WorkCenter 7345 from
my Mac w/OSX 10.5.5. All other Acrobat functions work just fine. All other
programs print fine and create pdfs just fine. The only things that won't print are
pdfs. (Created in-house or not.)
Our IT dept. is baffled because they are not familiar with Macs and all PCs in the
building can print pdfs. Do you have any idea what might be causing this?
I'm thinking it must be either a preference or setting we have set incorrectly; or
we are unaware of a glitch that is causing it.
Please help if you can. Thank you.

Answer
Hi Beth,

The only things I can think of are, make sure your printer descriptions are up to date, that is you have the latest version from Xerox for OSX 10.5, and try making the Xerox your default printer.

Thanks,
