Question
Hi there.

I have some software called Nitro PDF. I have created a PDF form that can be printed but I decided to mess around with certificates and I dont know what I was doing.

I have basically signed a document or encrypted a document but now I cannot open it again.

I have all the files and certificates saved but I still cannot open the file. Can you let me know what to do?

Thanks

Answer
Hi Lewis,

While I don't know anything about Nitro PDF, I did find some info on their site regarding certificates and security.

Check this out -

http://www.nitropdf.com/help/pdf_security.htm

There is a note of importance in this documentation -

Note: When using certificate-based security, remember to add your own certificate as an intended recipient - if you don't you will not have access to the PDF once it has been secured.

Hope that helps you out.

Thanks,

Ken Black
