How do I delete text in a pdf file?

Hi Brenda,

Using Adobe Acrobat Pro (version 6 and above), select Tools -> Advanced Editing -> Touch-Up Text.

Use the cursor to select the text you wish to edit and delete or edit it.

This only works to text that is still text. Any typeface that was turned into outlines, or is part of a rasterized image cannot be edited.

Also, depending on whether a font was embedded in the document or not will limit your editing capability. However, deleting text should not be an issue.
