Adobe Acrobat - Exporting FDF from mulitple PDFs

Expert: Ken Black - 8/6/2008

Question
Is there an easy way to export the form data from several hundred files?  I am
currently combining them into one PDF using the package option and then
exporting the data for each one.  I would like to automate this somehow.

Answer
Hi Stacey,

Depending on what version of Acrobat you are using, you could create a batch process [Advanced->Batch Process...(version 7 & 8 pro)] first to open the files then to export them in I believe any format that Acrobat supports.

You will need to create a new process as there isn't one to specifically deal with this type of export, but the task is wizard based so to speak. It will somewhat walk you through.

Let me know if this was of help or if you need further assistance in setting this process up. I will need to know what version of Acrobat you are using.

Thanks,

Ken Black
