Adobe Acrobat - Creating a multiple line text field in a form

Expert: Ken Black - 9/3/2008

Question
Hi
I am trying to create an online form with a couple of text fields. I've worked through Adobe tutorials but they seem to not deal with the issue. The problem is when I create a text field with multiple lines of text, the cursor (in preview mode or once the form is completed) ends up centered on the left on the text field instead of at the top left of the text box. Adobe templates that use mutiple line text boxes have the cursor at top left. What am I missing?

Thanks
Adrian

Answer
Hello Adrian,

Double check that the alignment is set to left. Select the multi-line field and double click to open the properties window and check the text alignment to be sure it is not set to center.

Thanks,

Ken Black
